Spanish Springs is a town in Washoe County, Nevada. The town has a rich aerospace history due to the Sky Ranch Airport, which held the first Reno Air Races in 1964 and 1965. The airport also housed the Rocketdyne Nevada Field Laboratory, which tested rockets that were eventually used in the Space Program.
